The Fields on Caton Farm Garden Center Sales Associate – Seasonal
The Fields on Caton Farm, Inc. is a small, family-owned nursery, landscape, garden center company dedicated to providing exceptional landscaping services and high-quality plants for our community. We are passionate about creating beautiful outdoor spaces and delivering personalized service to our customers.
We are currently seeking hardworking, trustworthy, and dependable associates to become part of our team in our retail garden center. In this position, you will gain experience and knowledge in horticulture while assisting customers and maintaining the garden center.
Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist customers to best identify their needs.
Providing advice and information on plant care, including watering, light requirements, and fertilization.
Processing customers transactions and helping load their plant material.
Water and maintain current stock to ensure the highest quality of plants.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the garden center, including cleaning tools and equipment.
Unload trucks when new stock arrives.
Heavy lifting may be required to move carts of plant material.
Price and label plant material accurately and accordingly.
Set up displays and assist with seasonal decor.
Maintaining grounds, weeding, watering, pruning, cleaning fountains and merchandising.
